 Our
Lead Pastor is Don Brackbill, Jr.
Pastor Don is 47 years old and has been
in pastoral ministry for nearly 24 years. He came to
Desert
Sky Baptist
Church in December of 2003 after
serving churches in Phoenix and Southern California.
Pastor Don is a graduate of Grand Canyon University
(B.S., 1987) and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.,
1993). His is currently a student at Golden
Gate again and will graduate in May, 2011 with his
D.Min. degree.
Pastor Don met his wife,
Daylene, while in college. They married on June 29, 1985. They had
one daughter, Christina, who is now 23 and attending
California Baptist University
in Riverside, California.
Pastor Don has a passion for church ministry
and has devoted his life to the work of the local church. He also
has been trained in and developed a ministry for family caregivers.
He enjoys golf, reading (particularly history) and woodworking.
